Evaluation

Overall I think this project has taught me the important foundations to animating in 2D with the following key processes: storytelling, scripting ,storyboarding, character design, colours, style  and positioning of elements on screen. I also learned how heavy the storage of preparing an animation is and brought a 5TB hard drive to keep all of my files monthly progress in named files based on the process and edits. I enjoyed adding colour to the storyboard as it gave the idea more life and helped me identify how the narrative would work to visualise how long each scene would be, in addition to adding shots in between scenes to emphasise the emotion more such as Luna as a puppet being controlled by a clawed hand.

To improve I think I could have added more environment backgrounds texture to highlight the dark abys Luna is in, also the trees shot could have had textures and sharp edges to convey Lunas change in thoughts; Next time I think I will think of adding sound to highlight the eerie atmosphere and the calm.
